Our latest collaboration with style icon, Andreas Weinås.
Once again, we’ve partnered up with one of Europe’s most influential menswear connaisseurs, Andreas Weinås.
This extremely limited capsule collection features seven outfits that are destined to turn heads this summer – all in exquisite fabrics handpicked by Andreas.
Experience a new house cut “the Weinås cut”, our 10th anniversary “Escorial X” suit fabric woven exclusively for Mond of Copenhagen in the rarest wool fibre in the world, and last, but definitely not least; the crown jewel of this collection – the “Seafoam Dupioni Jacket” in 100% dupioni silk.
This one is for all of you who already have the mandatory navy and grey suits in your wardrobe (or those of you, who just want the perfect shade of olive suit) Our Olive Tropical Wool from legendary Fox Brothers in England.
With a weight of 305 g/m in a tropical wool and hopsack weave, this suit is multifaceted; it’s durable, it’s breathable and most importantly, it’s highly wrinkle-resilient.
These are attributes that are worth going for in any suit meant for the office or for your wedding day. Honestly, we’d say they’re worth going for, for just about any occasion year round, but then again, we’re also die-hard fans of suits that are easy to wear and care for.

Escorial is a luxurious and rare wool from a small sheep originating from the Spanish Royal flocks of “El Escorial”, today only to be found in small numbers in Australia & New Zealand – in the only three flocks in the world.
The Escorial difference is in the heart of the fibre, performing as a naturally coiled spring. This flexible characteristic creates a fabric that is incomparable in drape and resilience with a distinctive soft handle.
To mark our 10th anniversary, we proudly introduce the Escorial X.
Woven exclusively for Mond of Copenhagen, in the rarest merino wool fibre in the world, this is our testament to our most exigent customers;
The suit that feels like wearing a second skin.
This is the only fabric that Andreas actually did not pick. Rather, we invited him to test it, because we wanted his input on the result of our very first exclusive house fabric. His response?

We absolute love what Andreas had in mind with this super cool, super gabardine from Huddersfield Fine Worsted.
Although some may believe that the gabardine fabric belongs to an era long gone, we believe that Andreas’ take on the cut and design elements of this suit pays an ode to the 70’s, all the while being on point with today’s colors and style.
This is an exceptional fabric in a tight twill-weave, a weight of 350 g/m and an excellent drape. Did we mention that gabardine is sturdy, durable and water repellent?
The Donkey Super Gabardine suit is styled here with one of our favorite summer shirts; the Taupe Linen shirt from Italian Albini.
If you have yet to experience an overshirt, may we suggest you start with this one?
In this premium black Irish linen from British Huddersfield Fine Worsted, Andreas has created a look we believe is versatile and will be an easy addition to most Scandinavian mens’ summer wardrobe.
If you want to stand out as a gentleman with infinite class and style, this is the outfit for you. Worthy of the Oscars, galas and any other formal event we can think of, the fabric-, design-, and cut-choices made on this selection spell classic, elegant formal wear as no other.
The double-breasted dinner jacket is in 100% dupioni silk from Holland & Sherry, and the black Fresco mohair tuxedo trousers are from Hardy Minnis – both iconic, English mills.
Even though the fabrics are designed as a dinner jacket and tuxedo trouser here, keep in mind that you are free to choose your own design and style with all of our fabrics.
With this seersucker shirt in premium Egyptian cotton, you can almost taste a glass of your favorite chilled summer drink.
Andreas wanted to create the ultimate, casual – yet stylish – shirt for summer and we believe he hit bullseye.
It’s the perfect shade of yellow, the seersucker weave gives the shirt a nice, textured look, and the Egyptian cotton feels silky smooth against your skin. Andreas chose to design his shirt as a pop-over with a casual chest pocket and cut-away collar.
Keep in mind you can design your shirt exactly the way you want it.
